Conscientious
http://www.jmcolberg.com/weblog/
Conscientious is a blog that predominantly deals with contemporary fine-art photography (even though I also link to other topics that I might find interesting). It presents a selection of photographers, with the selection based on whether I like their work or find it interesting. It's really as simple as that. In addition to showcasing photographers I also link to articles about photography, and I post reviews of photography books and interviews with photographers, with the reviews and interviews written/conducted by me. Since I love photo books, if you want to send me a copy of your book - for a review - please get in touch with me.

(E/v +/-) Exposure Compensation
http://exposurecompensation.com/
Why the name [EV +/-] Exposure Compensation? first because it sounds cool to me. Second, and more important, because one of the powers of photography I find more fascinating is to be a vector of change. To compensate for lack of understanding, to compensate for lack of knowledge, to compensate for inequality, to compensate for injustice, to compensate for lack of freedom and human rights, to compensate for lack of appreciation for the diversity of people, societies and cultures. When you see an image, just taken within a fraction of a second, the dimension of time looses its restrictions and you can look, and look, for as long as you want to observe. And after looking we can appreciate aspects of life that we missed before. And this is what at the end constitute the core of photography, the observation of the world outside and inside ourselves.

Michelle Jones
michellejones.net/exposure/
Exposure is a blog about photography written by Michelle Jones.
I'm a writer and photographer who is blessed to have an amazing partner who supports everything I try. I picked up a camera in 2004 with semi-serious intentions and fell in love. Hard. Since that time I've taken classes, shot thousands of shots, read dozens of books and looked at countless photographs by other photographers. I want to view as much as I can, learn as much as I can and develop my eye and skills as much as I can. I'm a believer that natural talent isn't the only path to success. Frequently hard work unlocks what we think of as talent. At least I hope that's the case.
